She has interviewed prominent figures such as Donald Trump during his presidential campaign, German Chancellor Friedreich Merz, and Taiwanese Ambassador Alexander Yui. She has covered major political events including the 2024 and 2020 presidential elections, the recent government shutdown, and the election of Mike Johnson as House Speaker in 2023. Starting January 10, Hasnie will host her own Saturday show from 12-2 PM and will join other White House correspondents in covering the White House.
