After investigation, authorities confirmed there was no immediate threat, and the library was evacuated as a precaution. The call, received by the Bowling Green Police Department, claimed an active shooter was present, but no evidence of a threat was found after thorough sweeps. The incident is believed to have been a swatting attempt, and law enforcement agencies are working together to investigate further. BGSUPD has increased security presence following the event.
