LAFC has appointed Marc Dos Santos as the club's third head coach, succeeding his previous role as assistant coach where he contributed to winning the 2022 MLS Cup, Supporters’ Shield, and the 2024 U.S. Open Cup. Dos Santos, 48, who has extensive coaching experience in North America, Brazil, and Canada, including a stint as head coach of Vancouver Whitecaps and success in NASL and USL leagues, is praised by club officials for his understanding of LAFC’s culture and his potential to elevate the team. He is known for his innovative approaches, having earned the UEFA Pro License in 2022 and coaching youth teams in Brazil.
